If you require extended childcare because of work or other commitments, we offer supervised care for all children who attend Saltford School. We walk to and from school every day taking and collecting the children onto the playground and the reception and year 1 children into their classroom.
We run a before school ‘breakfast club’ from 8.00 in the morning. We also offer an early bird session from 7.30. After school the children are collected at 3.10 and accompanied back to the pre-school where they are given a light tea of fresh fruit, toast, sandwiches or pasta, with home bakes and a drink while supervised until 6.00pm.
The after school club is led by Ella & Jamie, who also works within the pre-school during the day as a key-worker for children attending 9-3. Ella and Jamie are qualified and experienced practitioners, who plan around the children’s interests to provide a wide range of fun activities for them. Activities include cooking, art, crafts, sewing, construction, IPads and visits to the park. The children can also choose to play outside, weather permitting, or simply read or chat to friends.
Our holiday club is an extended childcare for those in need during the school holidays. For children attending school aged between 4 years – 12 years, to play alongside each other and are a great spot to hang out with siblings if you’ve got older or younger brothers and sisters. We offer sessional care half or full days, mainly for those who attend Saltford School, however we can cater for children from other nearby schools if parents/carers are able to drop off and collect. Children will be fully supervised, Led by Jamie, who will organize fun activities for the children age appropriate: cricket, rounder’s, parachute play, local trips around the community & many visits to the park. Messy and craft activities, cooking, Ipads, construction and role-play.
